The interior concept of the flagship office of the company "Holy Spring" by AMMG Architects was based on a sense of environmental friendliness, scale, and comfort. The office block is located directly in the building of the company's flagship plant to produce drinking water; the plant, commissioned in 2021, is the largest in this industry in Europe. When developing the project, it was important for the authors to emphasize the innovativeness, scale, and manufacturability of the company – the space of 2 floors and more than 2,800 sq. m. allowed them to apply creative and non-standard solutions.
The brand's signature colors – red, cobalt, green and pale pink - became visual markers and recognizable techniques; the image of water as a metaphor became the second technique that allowed visually linking the company's activities with its flagship workspace. Opposite the main entrance to the lobby, visitors are greeted by a reception desk made according to the author's sketches – its mirrored facade with an engraving resembles a water surface; veneered panels of dark oak behind the counter are diluted with inserts from the so-called "bubble waterfalls". The glass globe lamps, assembled in a complex composition above the reception, complete the water theme, being an allusion to raindrops. To the right of the counter is a composition of tropical plants, as if revived by the life—giving effect of the main character - water. A round column lined with stabilized moss and various branding elements continue the natural aesthetics: a drop panel made by the artist from lacquered blue ceramics, and a steel screen with laser perforation, which serves both as a bright visual accent and conceals access to technological communications of the building. Not far from the entrance, there is a spacious dining room for employees and several meeting rooms, which can be accessed without going up to the second floor.
The space of the 2nd floor is the main working area of the office. The analysis of the initial data immediately prompted the architects to zone the premises: for example, a block of executive offices and several meeting rooms were placed along the windows, in the center there were the main workplaces combined according to the company structure. On the left side of the plan there are bathrooms and a wall adjacent to the technical rooms.
The most interesting was the wall separating the office block from the factory floor – windows were placed in it, thereby organizing a demonstration area for guests and partners of the company; for the convenience of observing the exciting production process, a bar-like counter was designed. You can sit at it with a cup of coffee, and, for example, work with a laptop – the authors immediately provided all the necessary IT infrastructure.
The compositional accent of the open space was a light wall with the logo of the "Holy Source" - a white, crystal clear and luminous monolith stands out spectacularly against the background of a blue ceiling, drawn into light squares by a suspended LED system. Lockers were built into the niches on the sides for the convenience of employees, painting them blue in addition to the ceiling. The meeting rooms and offices are designed in a more relaxed but elegant way; the architects chose light veneered oak panels, milky white stemalite and ceilings with variable diameter perforations as the basic palette. Various floor finishing materials zone departments and offices; materials were selected based on the technical requirements for each part of the interior. The offices and meeting rooms are separated from the OPEN-SPACE by glass partitions with gradient matting, which visually continues the theme of water, creating a feeling of either fog or haze at the foot of the waterfall. The space of more than 1000 sq. m. does not look monotonous and thanks to the use of various ceiling systems – the authors successfully combined open ceilings, smooth coloring, rack and pinion suspension systems and acoustic perforation. Lighting was also carefully worked out – lamps with a comfortable color temperature of 3200 K were chosen and a separate light calculation was carried out, which made it possible to achieve a harmonious and uniform light, comfortable for all employees and guests of the office.
